Megan and Garrett didn’t let rainy November weather stop them from having the best wedding day! I first met Megan and Garrett for their engagement photos in downtown Grand Rapids and knew their Holland Michigan wedding at Port 393 would be a day full of love and happiness!
Michigan Wedding at Port 393
The day of the wedding the couple both got ready at the venue. I was obsessed with Megan’s bridal look! The sleek gloves, an all-white wedding bouquet, and long pearl earrings created such a classic vision!
Instead of doing a first look, Megan and Garrett did private vows. With vow books in hand, they stood back to back and read their vows to each other. This is a great way to keep things more private if you and your partner don’t want to read your personal vows during the ceremony in front of all your wedding guests!
Next, it was time for their ceremony inside Port 393. After the ceremony and family photos we headed out for wedding party and bridal portraits! We had to work super fast due to the rain, but we made it happen. Megan and Garrett’s husband and wife photos are proof that dreamy wedding portraits can happen in less than 5 minutes (but more time is always preferred)!
After portraits, we headed back to Port 393 for their reception. One of my favorite elements from their wedding was their champagne glass seating chart. Each glass of champagne on the wall had a gold circle with the guest name and table number! After their grand entrance, Megan and Garrett also did a champagne tower pour which always sets the mood for the reception. From there they spent the evening celebrating and dancing with their loved ones!
Wedding Venue in West Michigan
Port 393 is a wedding venue in Holland, Michigan. It’s half a mile away from Lake Macatawa which you can see from the venue’s rooftop! Port 393 has both indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception options. Their rooftop patio would be so ideal for a summer wedding ceremony and cocktail hour!
