With about 50 of their closest family and friends, Meyer and Ivan said their vows and celebrated with a Cabo wedding at Hacienda Del Mar in October. The architecture, Meyer’s dress, the ocean views, and their sunset portraits all seem too good to be true! This was my second wedding in Cabo this year and I always love coming here!
Wedding at Hacienda Del Mar
On the morning of the wedding Meyer and Ivan got ready with their wedding parties. Meyer’s dress was insane! It was a custom Pnina Tornai. She literally went to Klienfield in NYC and made her dress custom there!
Once each group was ready we took bridal party photos before the ceremony. Everywhere on the resort grounds is beautiful and full of rich colors and greenery, so it was no problem to find spots for bridesmaid and groomsmen photos.
Meyer and Ivan had their ceremony at the Plazuela which is a large patio with an oceanfront view. Ivan had the sweetest, emotional reaction to seeing his bride walk down the aisle to him. They said their vows, kissed, and danced their way down the aisle! After their ceremony we did wedding party photos before heading off to take portraits of just Meyer and Ivan.
As the sun was setting we walked along the beach for photos with the ocean in the backdrop. Meyer and Ivan are both acrobats and so it was an automatic YES when they asked, “Can we do a lift real quick?” I still can’t believe this photo!
One thing I loved about the portrait time I had with Meyer and Ivan is that we did photos in a variety of settings and with different lighting. We did sunset photos on the beach and during blue hour before heading back towards the resort for their reception. Later we took some editorial style flash portraits that feel like whole other vibe.
Their reception felt magical with low, ambient lighting and live music to serenade everyone. They listened to toasts and did their first dance! Then they danced the night away with their family and friends!

Hacienda Del Mar is a resort in Los Cabos, Mexico that is right on the ocean. I was blown away by the rich colors and stunning hacienda architecture of the resort! You’ll see from Meyer and Ivan’s wedding photos, that every place we took photos was gorgeous!
