There’s something truly magical about capturing love stories, and Kayla and Drew’s engagement session at Montauk Point Lighthouse was no exception! This timeless engagement session was months in the making, and I had the incredible privilege of being there to document every beautiful moment. Drew had been planning for months to pop the question during their weekend getaway from NYC to Montauk. Kayla was completely unaware of what was about to happen, making the moment even more special!
Kayla and Drew’s Timeless Engagement Session
The day started with the couple enjoying a delicious dinner in Montauk. As the sun began to set, Drew suggested a stroll to the iconic Montauk Point Lighthouse. Little did Kayla know; this wasn’t just any walk! As they reached the perfect spot, Drew got down on one knee and asked Kayla to spend forever with him. The look of surprise and joy on Kayla’s face was priceless! Of course, she said yes! After the initial excitement and happy tears, we dove right into an impromptu engagement session. The lighthouse provided such a stunning backdrop, with its classic architecture and the crashing waves below. The golden hour light was absolutely perfect, casting a warm glow on the newly engaged couple.
Kayla and Drew were naturals in front of the camera, their love and excitement shining through in every shot. I got to capture many beautiful memories that they will cherish for many years to come. The joy radiating from them was contagious! As we moved around the lighthouse grounds, we found so many beautiful spots for photos. From the rocky shoreline to the grassy hills, each location offered a unique backdrop for their love story. What struck me most about Kayla and Drew was their genuine connection. Even in the midst of such an exciting and emotional moment, they remained completely focused on each other. Their love was evident in every glance, every touch, and every smile!
