When it comes to photography, there’s something incredibly special about capturing couples in unique, atmospheric settings. This time, I had the opportunity to photograph Sarah and Christian during a moody couples session at the stunning Lake George, NY. The location, paired with the distinct lighting conditions, made for an unforgettable experience!
Sarah & Christian Moody Couples Session
One of the highlights of this session was shooting during the blue hour, which occurs shortly after sunset when the sky takes on deep blue hues! The natural lighting created a magical ambiance that added depth and emotion to the photos. I absolutely LOVE how the images turned out! The unique lighting conditions of the blue hour gave the photos a dreamy and almost ethereal feel. What made this session even more special was Sarah and Christian’s dedication to making it happen! They road-tripped all the way from their hometowns to meet me at Lake George. Their adventurous spirit and enthusiasm were infectious and added an extra layer of excitement to the shoot.
The session had a cinematic quality that was both moody and captivating! The combination of the stunning landscape and the intimate moments shared between Sarah and Christian created photos that feel like they belong in a film! There’s an undeniable beauty in capturing genuine emotions against the backdrop of nature’s beauty. The moodiness of the session is something I LOVE and hope to recreate in future shoots.
