My Europe trip ended with these Zurich, Switzerland engagement photos. Everything about this session was perfect from the sunlight to the gorgeous flowers, the location, and the cutest couple, Nicole and Max!

Nicole follows me on Instagram and is also a photographer! When I was looking for European couples to set up sessions with, she reached out. Nicole and Max came to Zurich after work and we explored downtown Zurich together. These two were so easy to work with and went with the flow!
Couples Photos in Zurich, Switzerland
For Nicole and Max’s couples photos in Zurich, we started at a local park. The park was stunning! The flowers were in full bloom and the architecture gave it the European feel I wanted their photos to have. After photos at the park, we walked through downtown Zurich and stopped to take a few photos along the way. We ended at the Linmat River and took photos with the river in the background.
Finding Locations for Photo Sessions
Since this was my first time in Switzerland, a lot of research went into finding the best locations for this session in Zurich. I talked with Nicole about location ideas and did a deep dive on Google. Google maps is your best friend when you’re shooting in a new location!
I started by finding a free, public park and one that was close to downtown. Once I had the park nailed down I explored Google Maps Street View. I knew that we could make our way through the streets and could easily stop along the way before reaching the river. The Linmat River runs through the heart of Zurich and is a must-see to get the full experience of the city.
