As a Grand Rapids, Michigan wedding photographer, traveling to Scotland to capture Mimi and Brandon’s stunning editorial session felt like stepping into a fairytale, and I’m so excited to share these cinematic moments with you today, half shot on 35mm film!
Gosford House is one of Scotland’s most iconic and celebrated historic wedding venues, and photographing on the front lawn with those grand stairs rising behind us made every frame feel like a work of art. Mimi looked absolutely breathtaking in her gown from Aesling Bride, complete with a stunning shoulder-draping veil from Calily Bridal that moved so elegantly in the Scottish breeze. Brandon matched her sophistication perfectly in a crisp white tuxedo, and together they embodied that effortless, editorial style that makes my photographer heart sing.
The vintage blue convertible we incorporated into their portraits added such a romantic, classic element to this Editorial Scotland Wedding shoot. Positioning Mimi and Brandon with that gorgeous car against the grandeur of Gosford House created those cinematic, editorial frames that feel pulled straight from a luxury magazine spread.
