Marisa and Nolan had a stunning fall wedding at New Vintage Place in Grand Rapids, MI. I first met these two when we did their engagement photos last year. From our conversations I could tell how excited they were to be getting married and that spending time on the wedding day with their friends and family was a big priority!
Wedding at New Vintage Place
One of my favorite parts of their day, was Marisa’s first look with her Dad. It was such a sweet moment between the two. The emotion and smiles on their faces said it all. After a first look with her dad, Marisa also did a first look with her brothers. Another moment I loved was that they had their grandmas walk down the aisle as flower girls. They both had a little basket of flower petals to toss. It was another cute and thoughtful moment that everyone loved to see!
Since they didn’t do a first look, Nolan first saw Marisa when she was walking down the aisle and he had the biggest smile on his face. Throughout the ceremony they couldn’t keep their eyes off each other and couldn’t stop smiling. Seeing two people so happy to be getting married is the best!
New Vintage Place a Grand Rapids Wedding Venue
New Vintage Place is an industrial wedding venue in an old factory located north of downtown Grand Rapids, MI. This venue is ideal if you’re looking to have an indoor wedding ceremony and reception. The exposed brick, big windows, tall ceilings, and the architecture show off the venue’s historic character, but with an updated look and feel.
For Marisa and Nolan’s wedding, they both started with getting ready in the dressing rooms located inside the venue. Their wedding ceremony took place in the Vintage Hall and their reception was in the Great Hall. We were able to do all their wedding party photos and portraits outside, which I loved! The New Vintage Place has plenty of spots outside and around the property for beautiful photos. We love a wedding day that happens all in one place and New Vintage Place is perfect for that!
After their first dances, the dance floor turned into a full force dance party! A high energy wedding reception is always a vibe I’m happy to be a part of! Enjoy highlights from Marisa and Nolan’s day!
