Samantha & Ryan wanted to do photos at Grand Haven Beach to announce their pregnancy with their first baby. They brought along their dog, Alpine, to be in the photos too! We had an overcast day with even lighting and a beautiful sunset for their session on the beach!
Grand Haven Beach Pregnancy Photos
For Samantha and Ryan’s session we met at Grand Haven Beach. We walked along the beach to a few different places for photos. Samantha brought along a set of her sonogram photos that we used throughout the photos to announce their baby on the way. They wore neutral color outfits which were perfect for the beach landscape!
Samantha and Ryan also wanted to do photos to announce the baby’s gender. They brought along handheld smoke bombs to announce the gender! Is it a boy or a girl?! You’ll have to scroll down to see!
About Photos at Grand Haven Beach
We did their session at Grand Haven Beach which is on the eastern border of Lake Michigan and is a popular location for beach lovers. Normally the beaches along Grand Haven are busy, but the day of their session we had the whole place to ourselves!
Certain beaches in Grand Haven have rules around leashes and certain times you can bring your dogs to the beach, so that’s something to look into beforehand. For more info on dogs and leash rules head to this site!
I loved getting to take photos of Samantha and Ryan during such an exciting time of life for them! Their session at Grand Haven has me excited for more photo sessions along Lake Michigan!
