Kira and Pascal drove down from the Los Angeles area for the day and met Charlie and I for couples photos at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego. Kira is an aspiring photographer and follows me on Instagram! Sunset Cliffs are known for having some of the best ocean views in San Diego and they did not disappoint!

Kira and Pascal have been dating for around 5 years! I wanted the photos to capture Kira and Pascal’s fun and laid back vibe as a couple, and their natural chemistry together made it easy! Kira brought along a small flower bouquet that was fun to incorporate into their photos too. Bouquets aren’t just for weddings and are a pretty prop to include in engagement and couples photos.
About Photos at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego
Sunset Cliffs Park borders the edge of the Pacific Ocean in San Diego. Sunset Cliffs is known for its rugged cliffs with the best views of the ocean. It’s a popular location for people to visit to watch the sunset, go on a walk, visit the beach, and go surf at. The day of Kira and Pascal’s session it was cloudy and overcast, so we didn’t get a beautiful sunset. Regardless, this location is gorgeous and the clouds added a whole other vibe to their photos that I loved!
From wherever you park, you can follow a trail that walks along the cliffs. Since it’s such a popular area, we spent a lot of this session walking around to find the best spots without many people around! I would definitely recommend arriving well before sunset to have time to walk to different spots or even consider a sunrise session here.
