This wedding was long-awaited! Casey and Nick booked me for their wedding in 2019, but of course had to postpone their wedding day due to that cute virus we all love. 😉 In May 2022, they FINALLY got to have their dream wedding day! You can tell by Casey and Nick’s huge smiles that they had been waiting for this day for a long time!
Art Institute of Chicago Wedding Photos
We started their wedding day with getting ready photos. Casey wanted to get photos with their golden retriever pup while she was getting ready and of course we made it happen! We headed over to the Art Institute of Chicago for their first look and bridal party photos. Chicago’s Art Institute is located in the heart of the city and was the perfect location for wedding photos with a Chicago feel!
Wedding at The Zephyr
After wrapping up wedding photos at the Art Institute of Chicago, we headed to The Zephyr for Casey and Nick’s ceremony and reception. At sunset, the rooftop of their venue had the best view of the sun dipping beneath the Chicago skyline. We went up to the rooftop where they laughed together the entire time. Casey and Nick seriously made my job so easy because of how happy and at ease they were together!
After keeping in touch with Casey and Nick the past 3 years, it was amazing to finally see them enjoying their wedding day! I’m so happy I was able to come to Chicago to photograph it!
