Lindsey and Matt’s couples photos at Papago Park in Phoenix were a desert dream filled with gorgeous light! This was a session I did while on our cross-country road trip this year! Lindsey is a fellow photographer, and when I posted about wanting to do a session in Phoenix, she and her boyfriend, Matt, were up to model for me!
Couple Photos at Papago Park
We met up at Papago Park for their sunset session. I wanted to shoot at a location in Phoenix that showed off the natural desert scenery, and Lindsey knew Papago Park would be the perfect place.
For their session Lindsey wore a beautiful red dress and Matt had a more neutral look. They looked stunning together and her read dress really popped in their photos! For their session, I experimented with having a more blurry and documentary feel to their photos, so we added a lot of movement! I LOVE how their photos turned out!
About Photos at Papago Park
Papago Park is a popular park near downtown Phoenix, AZ. The park has 1,500 acres of desert to explore with red sandstone rock formations, stocked fishing lagoons, and numerous hiking and biking trails. It feels like a desert oasis in the middle of the city! A few of the popular spots in the park are the Phoenix Zoo, the Botanical Garden, and the Hole in the Rock Hike.
Even though Papago Park is a super popular location, we were able to find spots we had to ourselves. We took a trail that showed off the landscape of Papago Park and the vibrant rock formations. Then we made our way to one of the fishing lagoons with beautiful palm trees lining the pond. We lucked out with gorgeous weather and glowy sun!
Lindsey and Matt were such a fun and cute couple to work with! I’m so grateful we met up for a couples session!
