Sara & Garrett’s April wedding at The Cheney Place in Grand Rapids Michigan was a dream day! I met Sara and Garrett last year for their engagement session and they are one of the sweetest couples ever! The love they have for each other and their happiness together is evident in their photos and by anyone who is around them!

Sara and Garrett transformed The Cheney Place into a space that fit the vision and vibe they had for their wedding. Baby’s Breath flowers decorated everything from their wedding arch to the floral arrangements on their tables. Their decor with touches of gold and vintage China mixed with pink flowers had a simple, yet classic feel.
I was obsessed with Sara’s wedding dress! The long sleeves, the fit, and the fun texture of her sleeves completed a timeless bridal look! Plus, she has the most radiant smile which lights up everyone around her. Sara’s bridesmaids were a picture-perfect example of making mismatched bridesmaid dresses work! The different colors and fits of their dresses looked beautiful together standing next to Sara.
Getting Married at The Cheney Place
The Cheney Place is a modern warehouse wedding venue in Grand Rapids, MI. It’s the perfect place for having a wedding all in one location and that’s what Sara and Garrett did. There’s a bridal suite and a groom’s lounge for getting ready. The ceremony and reception were in the main event space which has incredible lighting with all the windows. It’s a super fun venue that’s like a canvas to bring your urban wedding to life. Plus, you don’t have to go far for portraits since The Cheney Place is located near downtown Grand Rapids.
